Give5
The office of the Student Benefits and Sponsorship was highly focused on planning Give 5 this term. Hence, this is a student-based initiative therefore, it was run by the students for the student body in assisting by bridging the inequality gap within the student body. It is a pay forward initiative, what one has been given, continue the cycle by contributing towards others. Therefore, this office has been in constant communication with student leaders, so that they can assist in dispensing of the information to the student body. As the SRC we must applause the student body for their great work in contributing towards Give5. It was really remarkable work they did and continues to do. Lastly, the Rhodes Talent show, which was started by the Student Benefits and Sponsorship office was a way of the SRC contributing towards Give5. With the same breath giving 5 the student body a platform to showcase their talent. Note that Give 5 week has passed, however, Give5 initiative still continues.
