Ms Sparrow has been employed in a wide variety of financial and administrative positions over the past fifty years in private, public and government sectors. In 1994 Ms Sparrow entered into business with her husband and opened a vehicle repair workshop in which she was responsible for the administrative, HR and financial duties for the time that they were in business.  In addition, Ms Sparrow has held the position of Church Treasurer while maintaining the books of their commercial farm from 1976 – 2001 and Secretary/Treasurer for the Commercial Farmers Union for 6 years.  In 2006 Ms Sparrow joined Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 and was employed at the Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 Mathematics Education Project (RUMEP) as Administrative Assistant until 2022. In 2014 she was recruited on an hourly basis by the DSAE for processing purchase orders and other financial administrative assistance. Ms Sparrow officially joined the DSAE on a part-time basis in January 2023.    

Some of her other interests include various types of needlework, knitting, gardening, baking, reading and enjoying interaction over WhatsApp with her grandchildren.
