PhD, Entomology, Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 (2013)

Grant completed his PhD at Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 in 2013. Grant is the project leading on high elevation invasive weeds species and the lead researcher on the biological control programme against the invasive aquatic weed Sagittaria platyphylla (Delta Arrow head).  Grant has also managed the Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 mass rearing facility and the persons with disabilities programme. The success of these programmes has allowed for mass rearing facilities suitable for employing persons with disabilities to be established in other areas of the country.

Research interests

  • High elevation invasive species
  • GIS
  • Biological control of weeds
  • Abiotic and biotic drivers of species invasions
