On the 24th of May 2024, the Student Representative Council (SRC) embarked on a heartfelt mission to alleviate the financial burdens faced by students due to funding scheme delays. In a commendable display of solidarity and care, the SRC organised the Ubuntu Drive, distributing approximately 214 support bags filled with essential groceries, toiletries, and stationery to both Oppidan and Residence students. This initiative, strategically timed just before the exam season, aimed to provide much-needed relief and support, ensuring that students could focus on their studies without the added stress of financial insecurity. This initiative met with immense gratitude from the student body, showcased the SRC's dedication to fostering a supportive community and ensuring the well-being of all students during a critical period.
