Wired networking

  • 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 departments: in certain departments, postgraduate students are provided with desk space including wired network connections.
  • 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 residences or off-campus: wired network services in student rooms within the university's residences or flat complexes have been discontinued.  Please use eduroam or RUoffcampus Wi-Fi services instead.

Printing in residences

Printers are available for student use in most residences.  Printing is charged for on a per-page basis and printing credit can be purchased on ROSS.

Help

If you need help connecting to one of these services, the student technicians provide a free assistance service.

  • Student helpdesk: visit the student helpdesk in the main library, on the ground floor next to the circulation desks.  It's normally open throughout the library's opening hours, but is closed during holidays, and may be closed or only open shorter hours during exam time.
  • E-mail: send a message to studentsupport@ru.ac.za.  Please provide as much information about the problem you're experiencing so that we'll be better able to help you.
