Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer and Neuropsychologist with a Ph.D. in Neuropsychology. I have over eleven years of academic experience, which involves lecturing and supervising research projects at the 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 level. In addition to academia, I possess clinical skills as a trained Neuropsychologist specializing in paediatric neuropsychology. The purview of my clinical experience includes the assessment, diagnosis, and counselling of multiple Neuropsychological conditions, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), clinical depression, bipolar disorder, multiple personality disorders, schizophrenia, and HIV Dementia, among others. In terms of research, my research explores the intertwined nature of Psychological well-being, neuroscience, and socioeconomic adversity. I investigate the nature of the above topics by studying hemodynamic differences/changes in oxygenated (HbO2) and deoxygenated hemoglobin (Hb) in the cerebral cortex, using functional near-infrared spectrometry (fNIRS) neuroimaging techniques. The ultimate objective of my career is to be an excellent scholar and clinician who advocates for social justice in the mental health domain, especially in underserved and most in-need populations.
