Biography
Dr Bongani Nyoka is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political and International Studies at Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网. He has published two books, Archie Mafeje: Voices of Liberation (HSRC Press, 2019) and The Social and Political Thought of Archie Mafeje (Wits 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 Press, 2020). The latter book won the 2021 Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 Vice-Chancellor’s Book Award. Dr Nyoka teaches Introduction to African Politics, South African Politics, and Land and Agrarian Questions in Africa. His research interests include African intellectual history, land and agrarian studies, and revolutionary theory.
