Summary:
I am a Hydrogeologist Researcher and Lecturer at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines et de la Géologie (ENSMG) at Universite Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) and a Postdoctoral fellow at Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网. With a strong background in numerical modelling, hydrogeochemistry, and isotope hydrology, I use advanced techniques to analyze and solve complex water resource challenges in semi-arid regions. Currently, my research is focused on projects that aim to enhance water resource management in Guiers Lake (Senegal) using system thinking and stakeholder engagement. Furthermore, I specialize in estimating water fluxes in the soil-vegetation-atmosphere continuum and understanding the water cycle in water-limited environments (e.g., Groundnut basin and Ferlo) through applying mechanistic modelling and water stable isotopes approach. My work is dedicated to developing practical solutions for water security and improving the resilience of vulnerable communities to climate variability.
