Summary:
I have a keen interest in engaged research in the field of environmental sustainability, with particular focus in the areas of sustainable water resources management and ecosystem rehabilitation. I enjoy working in a diverse team of researchers on projects that have lasting impacts for improved natural resource management and environmental sustainability in general.  

I have qualifications in river and wetland geomorphology and rehabilitation (MSc and PhD). My recent work has included implementation of a sustainable land management project in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and collaborative research work on a ‘Resilient Benefits for African Water Resources’ Project, across multiple African countries. 

Research:
My current interests include engaged research around issues of sustainable water resources use and management in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. I am also interested in education in the field of sustainability and natural resources management, and I hope to pursue this area of interest in coming years.
