Lilian Ngoyi

Lilian Ngoyi Hall consists of four houses:

• Centenary (men)
• Ruth First (women)
• Joe Slovo (men)
• Victoria Mxenge (women)

all of whom eat in a central dining hall, the Nelson Mandela Dining Hall.

The residences in Lilian Ngoyi Hall are named after people or events that have impacted upon either the life of the university or the history of South Africa.
