The Web of Science Research Assistant is designed with and for researchers to help you get more out of the Web of Science Core Collection, the world’s most trusted multidisciplinary citation database. 

The research assistant is a generative AI-powered tool that offers natural language, multilingual search capabilities, concise overviews of results, task-based guided walkthroughs, and visualizations to enhance your research. It delivers responses to research questions and contextual prompts to help you explore potential paths forward in your research. It supports a wide variety of research needs, including but not limited to:

  • Exploring a topic
  • Starting a literature review
  • Finding a journal to publish in
  • Identifying experts in a field

**Trial access is limited to 100 simultaneous users. Any subsequent attempts to access the database after 100 users are logged on will generate a message indicating that the maximum number of concurrent users is already in effect. For this reason, we strongly recommend that all users use the LOGOFF button at the end of each session when they finish reviewing the product. This immediately frees the session for the next user.***
