The 17th Annual Kovsie Moot Court Competition that took place virtually on 3 December 2021. Ms Hlengiwe Khumalo and Mr Sivenathi Mtshwisa represented the Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 Faculty of Law. Our team went against the 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 of Pretoria (UP) team in a preliminary round. While the UP team was named the overall winner of the competition, Ms Hlengiwe Khumalo of Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 was named the Overall Best Speaker for the competition. She will receive a book voucher as a prize, sponsored by Phatshoane and Henney Attorneys in Bloemfontein. Mr Gaopalelwe Mathiba was the team coordinator and Mr Shaun Bergover the coach. The enormous support by the Moot Club Chairs - Mr Thembelani Ncube & Ms Hayley Warring - is worth mentioning as it was also very instrumental to this achievement.
