Fresh from their very successful series of lectures on leadership for sustainability at Think!fest, the Rhodes Investec Business School (RIBS) has lined up another top-notch speaker for their Business Forum in August.?
On Wednesday, 11 August, Jacqui Kew will speak on “Entrepreneurship in South Africa: Quo Vadis? New economic bottle, same social recipe. Is it sustainable?” The title suggests there could be some challenging theories and ideas about a topic that features prominently on the development agenda of many different sectors.
Kew has years of experience in the field of finance and entrepreneurship. She is a senior lecturer in the Accounting Department at the 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 of Cape Town, runs a short course on finance for non-financial managers at the UCT Graduate School of Business, and has been involved on a consultancy basis with the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship since 2003, especially in the small business training programme.

She is one of the co-authors (with Mike Herrington and Penny Kew) of “Tracking Entrepreneurship in South Africa: a GEM Perspective” and has contributed to various other GEM reports.
