Short Biography:

Based at Antioch 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 New England, Dr. Uyizeye served as Program Manager for the Center for Tropical Ecology and Conservation for three years. Prior to this role, Dr. Uyizeye co-coordinated the Regional Network for Conservation Educators in the Albertine Rift, East Africa. Dr. Uyizeye is currently a research fellow of the Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resources at the 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 of Rwanda. He also teaches at Keene State College in the U.S as an Adjunct Faculty.

Research Interests:

Dr. Uyizeye’s research interests include integrated and adaptive management of freshwater ecosystems, freshwater ecology and ecotoxicology with a focus on aquatic invertebrates. His doctoral thesis focused on developing an odonate-based index for monitoring freshwater ecosystems in Rwanda.
