My area of specialisation include metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, and bioinformatics.

My research interests include application of microbial ecology methods (metagenomics, metatranscriptomics) to understand the dynamics of microbial communities and microbial pathogens and to track their source, and fate in different environments.  On the other hand, I also have special interest in discovering application driven functional genes of microorganisms in general ecosystems that are useful for biotechnology.
