My name is Imerina Tankeuoo Kopa, and I am a doctoral student at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Hydraulique de Blida (ENSH), specializing in irrigation and drainage. My research project is titled: "Precision Irrigation of Citrus and Market Garden Crops: A Case Study of the Mitidja Plain."
I arrived in Algeria on November 2, 2021, through the African Water Resources and Mobility Network (AWaRMN) intra-African program. I would like to express my gratitude to this program for providing me with the opportunity to be part of this great family, where I continue to grow every day. Thanks to the program and ENSH, I have been able to enhance my skills in the field of water, particularly in irrigation. Currently, I am still undergoing training and learning from my mentors, as I have not completed my course yet. Additionally, this program has allowed me to connect with remarkable individuals, both Algerian and foreign, as I explore the country. I have participated in virtual and face-to-face symposia, attended seminars, and taken part in training courses organized by the school, individuals worldwide, and various companies.
