Matthews House
This residence is one of the four male residences found in the Founders Hall. This residence houses a diverse range of students (cultural, racio ethnicity, nationalities, discipline and age). Matthews House comprises of 35 male students. Students in Matthews House are undergraduate students from different academic faculties at the university. The diversity within the residence promotes a healthy environment conducive to academic progress.Rooms in the residence have an internet port and students have access to the internet once they are signed up to the Resnet service offered by the university, for a fee. The residence has free laundry facilities, bathroom cleaning services and one common room with DSTV television facilities. Printing facilities are also available within the residence. Students have their meals in the Founders Dining Hall which is situated next to the residence. The residence is located in a centralised location in the university and students can walk to the lecture theatres, sporting fields, library, swimming pool etc. In front of the residence there are lawns which are always well looked after. The residence is safe, equipped with adequate security and fire alarm systems.
