Drostdy Hall wins Hall Community Engagement Award, and comes third with Founders for Inter-Hall Sports

Drostdy Hall won the Hall of the Year category at the Annual Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 Community Engagement Awards held on the 25 September 2024.  

Drostdy Hall has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to community engagement through their partnership with Noncedo Preschool, making a lasting impact on the lives of young learners. By organising engaging activities such as the Mr. and Miss Noncedo pageant, creating educational activity packs, and leading a vibrant classroom painting project, Drostdy Hall has contributed significantly to improving school readiness for preschoolers. These initiatives fostered confidence, literacy, and numeracy skills among the children, while also bringing together parents, teachers, and students in a spirit of collaboration. The Hall’s creative and hands-on approach to early childhood education, combined with strong teamwork from its Community Engagement Representatives, has set an inspiring example for Community Engagement. Drostdy Hall’s efforts have not only enriched the lives of Noncedo learners but have also strengthened the connection between Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 and the broader Makhanda community.

At the RU Sports Awards Dinner held on the 27 September 2024 it was announced that Drostdy Hall & Founders Hall combined came third in the Inter-Hall Sports Tournament.
