World Read Aloud Day 2021
At The Centre for Social Development (CSD) we managed to reach approximately 600 children for World Read Aloud Day this year. It wasn’t easy as most pre-schools and public schools are are still closed. But we still managed to distribute many stories and encourage the reading!
On Tuesday 2 February Ms Vatiswa Joni and Noluthando Shelle also visited Manley Flats area where they issued books to 25 parents. They encouraged them to read the stories to their children at home.
