The CSD has taken a leading role in the VW Legacy Literacy Project in Uitenhage this year. Based on research findings in 2019 the project has switched to additive bilingualism in its approach but with a strong focus on isiXhosa mastery as a literacy foundation.  We hope to extend the reach of the programme to touch all learners from grade R to grade 3.
