Incorporating a community-based service component in a given course can be a daunting but rewarding experience. Creating a space where both learning and service take place in mutually beneficial and transformative ways poses a unique set of challenges for teaching and learning.

Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 offers a short course in Service Learning that can provides the theoretical and practical tools required to design, reimagine and refine a community-based service-learning course. The course is designed for academics as well as community partners who may implement service learning at their sites. 2025 Course Dates

The Service Learning Short Course for Academics is an online course with a virtual meeting once a week. The course takes place 17 June to 14 July.

The Service Learning Short Course for Community Partners will take place from 4 to 8 August.
