Qualifications:
Thandiswa holds a BSc (RU), BSc Honours in Biotechnology (RU) and MSc Pharmacy (RU) and is currently reading for a PhD in Biotechnology (RU).

Thandiswa is a NGap Lecturer for Community Engagement and the Coordinator of Vulindlela.

Thandiswa has been involved in community engagement since her first year as a Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 student in 2013. As a student, Thandie has been a finalist in the Community Engagement Awards Top 10 Category, winning the Gold Award in 2015 and the Engaged Researcher of the Year award in 2018. 

She was the recipient of a Rhodes Investec Top 100 Award for Community Engagement.
