Rhodes Business School is delighted to announce that the 8th Speaker of the ATMDT Annual Lecture on Values-Based Leadership is the Chief Executive Officer of Business Leadership South Africa, Ms Busisiwe Mavuso, a position she has held since 1 July 2019.
Ms Mavuso serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), Resultant Finance (a PIC investee company) and BMF Investment (Pty) Ltd.
Prior to joining BLSA, Ms Mavuso was the Managing Director of the Black Management Forum (BMF), which she joined in May 2009. Ms Mavuso started her career in 1995 in the banking industry and has worked for various companies in industries ranging from training, consulting, telecoms and the healthcare industry.
Ms Mavuso is a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and has a Master of B usiness Leadership from Unisa.
