Research

Our research group is currently engaged in three core research areas:
Biosensors, Paper-Based Diagnostics, Engaged Research

The main goals then for our research group are to:

a) develop specific and sensitive sensing technology for:

• early disease detection by monitoring markers of human disease 
• pathogen detection for example in food, crops and livestock

b) generation of novel aptamers for application in diagnostics 

c) manufacture of paper-based diagnostics

d) engaged Research

• Engaging communities in scientific research and innovation
