Community of the Resurrection and the Grahamstown Training College

In 1894 the Sisters of the Community of the Resurrection founded the Grahamstown Training College, an institution which played a valuable part in the development of education in southern Africa, so much so that it was considered a "national loss" when it was forced to close down in 1974.

Canterbury Hall

Rhodes 老虎机游戏_pt老虎机-平台*官网 bought the property and in 1977 Canterbury Hall, comprised of Canterbury House and Winchester House, was born.
